About Dairy and Food Global Logistics​​

With 40 years of experience, DFGL can handle all types of transport and all types of cargo, both dry and temperature-controlled, import and export. We specialise in full container loads (FCL), less than container loads (LCL), air freight, and cross trades.

Nationally and internationally, we consider ourselves experts when it comes to the transport of food products, especially in dairy and frozen foods.

DFGL history: from 1986 till now​

2026

New name for the company:
Dairy and Food Global Logistics, (in short: DFGL), is the new name for De Bree Shipping B.V. The new name is effective as from January 1st 2026.

2025

Antonio Barbaro takes over De Bree Shipping B.V. and becomes 100% owner.

2017

De Bree Shipping B.V. moves to their new headquarters in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, which is also located near Rotterdam.

2012

Antonio Barbaro becomes a partner at De Bree Shipping B.V. in The Netherlands. 

2010

Antonio Barbaro, is appointed Managing Director of De Bree Shipping B.V. in The Netherlands.

2008

De Bree Shipping B.V. opens a third office in China. This enables DBS to provide a better service to its clients from these regions.

2004

Antonio Barbaro becomes Operational Director of De Bree Shipping B.V. in The Netherlands. 

1999

De Bree Shipping B.V. opens a second office in Poland.

1996

The new De Bree Shipping B.V. headquarters opens in Ridderkerk, a village just outside Rotterdam.

1986

The journey of De Bree Shipping B.V. begins in 1986. De Bree Shipping B.V. is an independent freight forwarder and operates from an office in Bolnes, near Rotterdam.
